2019 Rainbow Connect was a very special occasion this year. It was not only a great opportunity to bring together Rainbow Club teachers, staff, volunteers and Committees but also a special celebration of 50 years of Rainbow Club!
We were privileged to have some amazing and inspirational presentations this year. Amanda Stevens spoke about her inspirational journey to represent Australia at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Dubai and then Special Olympics talked about the exciting opportunity for Rainbow Club to have a team attend the National Junior Games next year. Tanya Jarvis shared an amazing presentation on Key Word Sign which left everyone wanting to learn more. Before the teachers were off for their professional development training session in the pool there was a cutting of the cake to celebrate an amazing 50 years of Rainbow Club.
