Louise Sauvage, Rainbow Club Patron, coaches Madison de Rozario to win Gold in the Women’s 800m! Louise, who is a wheelchair racing legend herself and one of Australia’s most decorated Paralympians, has been a coach on the Wheelchair Track and Road team for the Tokyo Paralympics.
In a few days’ time, 18th August, we will make our way to Tokyo. We arrive about a week before the start so we will have time to familiarise ourselves with the surrounding environment.
In mid-July I was selected for my 5th Paralympics Games to be held late August in Tokyo. It was a nerve-wracking time, as there were more people to qualify than spots available.
On Wednesday night, Rainbow Club gathered to farewell Philip Holt, OAM who has retired from the Board of Rainbow Club. It was a time to thank a legend of Rainbow Club.
