Welcome Bronte Campbell to the Rainbow Club Family.
Rainbow Club Australia proudly announces the appointment of renowned Australian Olympic Swimmer Bronte Campbell as its newest Ambassador. This collaboration aims to make a significant impact on the lives of children and young adults with disabilities, enabling them to experience the joy and benefits of swimming fostering independence, confidence, and social participation within their community.
Bronte is a three-time Olympic swimmer who has won twenty-seven international medals throughout her eleven-year career. She is now chasing her dream of the Paris 2024 Olympics, hoping to join the ranks of only three other Australian Swimmers who have made four Olympic teams. Born in Malawi, Africa, her Olympic dream was fuelled by watching the 2000 Olympic Games, coming to life when Bronte moved to Australia in 2001. She brings her exceptional talent and passion for swimming to this new role as Ambassador.
“I’m so honoured to join Rainbow Club as an Ambassador,” says Bronte Campbell. “Inclusion is something I truly value, and Rainbow Club goes beyond this by creating a safe environment for children and young adults of all abilities, not only to learn to swim but also grow in confidence and find a community. I cannot wait to see the continued growth and expansion of clubs into areas of need so that more children and young adults with a disability can receive this valuable service in their community.”
Bronte Campbell’s involvement as an ambassador will bring greater attention to Rainbow Club Australia’s initiatives and inspire others to support this meaningful cause, including the Malabar Magic Ocean Swim, Rainbow Club’s annual major fundraising event. Bringing swimmers of all abilities together with Rainbow Club members for an experience of inclusion and inspiration on Malabar Beach.
