Our 2018 Rainbow Connect gave Rainbow Club teachers, staff, volunteers and Committees a chance to come together, share experiences and learn.
A day of celebrity, enthusiasm, fabulous sunshine and great emotion as thirteen teams completed the 10:10:10 Challenge in honour of the Magic’s 10th anniversary.
Among the many highlights at the 10th Malabar Magic day – an event inclusive of all abilities – was the terrific achievement of the Magic Rainbows.
The 2017 Family Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park was a fabulous and fun day for swimmers, siblings, teachers and parents.
Rainbow Club were deeply saddened in October 2017 at the death of our Founder Ron Siddons MBE OAM.
On that first swim day in 2009, Rainbow Club corralled about 200 swimmers who braved cyclonic weather and bay full of salps to swim at that inaugural event now known as the Malabar Magic.
Gavin and James both have autism and have attended Rainbow Club for several years.
As the storms rolled across, avid ocean swimmers were deciding if they would spend their Sunday morning swimming the 2017 Murray Rose Malabar Magic Ocean Swim.
On 13 November 2016, members gathered at the Des Renford Aquatic Centre in Maroubra for the annual Swim the Rainbow Family Carnival.
