Family Carnival - Cancelled due to COVID-19

Each year, Rainbow Club hosts a fun, family-friendly and inclusive event for members, siblings, teachers and friends. Our annual Family Carnival is an important and exciting part of the Rainbow Club social calendar.

The Family Carnival is where Rainbow Clubs meet, compete, have fun, and celebrate. Held in November, members participate, form teams, and have fun competing for the placings. It is a great day to socialise and meet members from other Rainbow Clubs.

Many of our dedicated teachers are present to help the day run smoothly and demonstrate they have talents outside the pool. Each Club has a teacher as their marshal to follow the Family Carnival program and ensure the children are ready for their activity or heat.

The Family Carnival program includes a siblings meet, fun activities for those still learning to swim, and races for Blue, Indigo and Violet. An InterClub relay race invites everyone to cheer on their Club team. Following the heats, an Awards presentation and an exciting special guest appearance ensures everyone has a fun and festive day together.

A special thank you to our volunteer organisers and coordinators who help make the Family Carnival such an amazing day out for Rainbow Club.
