For something different
Here we help young adults explore where they want to go for their next active adventure and work with them to achieve that goal.
READY FOR MY ACTIVE?
My Active was created as a response to the request for programs to suit young adults with a disability who like to be active and engaged in their fitness. We believe in providing opportunities and activities which form part of a wellness program specifically tailored for the participant and their families.
Our My Active coaches and exercise physiologists work with individuals and families to build their own My Active in ways that suit the participants. We’ll deliver the tools, information and opportunities for young adults with a disability to have fun and be engaged in an active life.
You’ll need to register your interest to become part of My Active. From there we’ll arrange to talk with you about which of the three My Active programs would be the best place to start:
My Active Squads: If swimming is the preferred activity or Swim the Rainbow has been completed
My Active Moves: If you want to target stability, strength, flexibility or movement
My Active Next: Looking for something different or new directions? My Active Next can take you to new places!
We can’t wait to meet all the young adults who’ll benefit from participating in My Active. Watch this space as more coaches and locations become available or register your interest so we can contact you when My Active comes to an area near you!
