After many years of operating informally with Ron Siddons at the helm, Rainbow Club had its first official launch at Cronulla in 1986.
At the Club’s first meeting Ron described the official opening as “an historic occasion and the culmination of a personal vision”. He also appointed two students as office bearers, Fiona as President and Rebecca as Secretary, effectively handing the Club over to members.
