It was a very exciting term, hitting a major milestone of over 2000 children swimming in a Rainbow Club Pool! We opened new clubs at Kensington and Forster, re-opened at Liverpool and added more days and hours on some existing club schedules to reach this amazing accomplishment.
We welcomed Sans Souci, Seven Hills North, Mt Annan and Taree Rainbow Clubs.
On Sunday 13 November Cherrybrook Rainbow Club celebrated becoming the first club to reach 100 Members! There were children, teachers and volunteers, past and present in attendance.
Team Denton (AJ, Mila, Deanne & Jason) from Newington Rainbow Club and Team Baldwin (Leyla, Eloise, Lucas, Mark & Emma) walked/ran over the Sydney Harbour Bridge for the annual Blackmores Sydney Running Festival last Sunday in support of Rainbow Club.
Rackley Swimming, one of the largest providers of swimming lessons in southeast Queensland, and Rainbow Club Australia, a network of social swimming clubs for children with a disability, are delighted to announce a partnership that will allow young people living with disabilities in Queensland greater access to aquatic activities in their local community.
