Seth started at Sutherland Rainbow Club 4 years ago when he was 7.

“It was the first organised sporting activity we took him to and he hasn’t looked back from there.” -Michael, Seth’s dad

Seth is on the Autism Spectrum and at a young age loved the water both in the pool and in the ocean. He seemed to find being in the water with his parents, friends and family both soothing and fun as well as being a great way to all spend time together.

Rainbow Club was able to harness that love for the water into lessons that have made him confident and safe in the water. Over the last couple of years Seth’s naturally competitive streak has seen him progress in leaps and bounds in the pool under the wonderful instructive style of Carla his swim teacher at Sutherland Rainbow Club.

So much so that this year saw Seth swim so well in his relay race at his school swimming carnival he progressed through to swim in the Senior Boys Freestyle Multi Class event at the Zone, Regional and the upcoming NSW State Carnivals.

A fantastic achievement and experience for Seth, both in and out of the pool.

“Thank you Rainbow Club – you gave us and Seth such great support and belief to get there!” -Michael, Seth’s Dad
