When Abbey Faulkner joined Newington College Rainbow Club she started learning to swim with Ian Lovelace as her devoted teacher.
In May this year, Abbey had the opportunity to thank Ian for his dedication when he received a long service award for his years of teaching at Rainbow Club. Abbey wrote a beautiful speech which she very eloquently delivered and Ian was overcome with emotion.
